Traditional Bourbon Mint Julep

– 2 oz Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon or Four Roses Bourbon
– 1 oz Simple Syrup Infused with Mint
– 10 Fresh Mint Leaves & 1 Sprig

The traditional recipe is in a copper or metal mug or tall highball glass. Add mint sprig to bottom of mug. Gently crush and muddle mint leaves. Fill mug to top with crushed ice. Pour bourbon over the ice, add and pour simple mine syrup over the ice. Gently stir. Garnish with mint sprigs. Push sipping straw to bottom of mug.
